We use a Raspberry Pi for our fileserver, and a python script to wrangle the band/status chattiness in lieu of attempting?to run the log program on the Pi.? Works a treat, but also means we couldn't set up Mac WSJT-X without having a suitable destination for the QSOs.? It'd be nice to know whether those WSJT-X QSOs could just be sent to any old workstation that's doing logging to get added to the log file.

If you have one particular computer set up?as a server and not doing any actual logging (e.g. log serving and maybe showing a sections-worked map), then I would assume you could configure WSJT-X to point to that computer?to do its logging.

I don't know if the computer will want to impose its notion of current band and mode, though.
We run 3A so people generally just yell "What band are you on?" and TBH, I think I'm the only one who used the status screen to see where people were at or the spotter.? I'm hoping to do a presentation on the "advanced" featured before next FD.? We only have 5 radio operators this year and it's mostly a social event for us, but I'm the one who has to deal with the logs so I'm just trying to make it easier on me.? We definitely eat better than we play radio for FD.? Seems? 10x more people show up for dinner than to operate.? LOL
