N3FJP’s ARRL RTTY Contest Log 1.0 is now available!

N3FJP’s ARRL RTTY Contest Log 1.0 includes all the features that you have come to expect in our software including dupe checking, writing submission files, multipliers changing colors when worked, rig interface, DX spotting, etc.? In addition, it will also interface with K7RE RTTY!?

As many of you know, we have received lots of requests to support?digital modes?with our software.? While we have always been enthusiastic about the idea, our own digital experience has been limited to packet and?a little PSK 31.

Last summer I received an e-mail from Brian, K7RE, (author of QRP Dupe) encouraging support for RTTY.? Knowing Brian's enthusiasm for the digital modes and programming experience, we began discussing the logistics of interfacing two programs as a way to make that happen, and the concept of K7RE RTTY was born!

K7RE RTTY is still very much in BETA status, but it's?now ready for users to give it a try and work with Brian to shake out the bugs.??Brian has been working so hard on getting the program ready that he hasn't had the opportunity to set up his website yet.? Once Brian's site is up (probably some time on Monday), you can download the program from:

The MNQP Log has been upgraded to reflect the change for the county abbreviations from two letter to three letter.? This contest is coming up in February so be sure to have the latest version on hand.? The upgrade is free to registered users.

N3FJP's Packet Monitor (BETA 0.4.6) is now available!

I started working on a packet program several years ago.? I never had time to work all the bugs out of the program, but with the renewed interest in packet I decided to blow the dust off of the old code and make it available for anyone who would like to use it.

One of the neat features of this program is that you can use it to chat with multiple stations simultaneously when you select conference mode.? All stations connected to you will see each other's comments.? Our local club is using this program as we get ready to set up a local bulletin board.

WX Net – Wide Area Weather Project.

Finally, if you are a weather enthusiast, we hope that you will participate in our WX Net – Wide Area Weather Project.?
