First of all though, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your?great suggestions, kind words and continued support?in 2004! ? Amateur Contact Log 2.7 is now available! ? Enhancements include: ? 1. Ability to automatically sign in to the Telnet DX cluster on startup. ? 2. Enhanced DX spotting list display on the main form including: ??? A. Status of the DX spot based on logged contacts (New,?Need QSL?or Confirmed). ??? B. Country name for the DX spot is listed. ??? C. Ability to click on the DX spot in list mode to tune your rig to the spot frequency. ? 3.? When displaying the band or spectrum map of DX spots, the map will dynamically resize. ? 4.? The Timer CW option works well on most setups.? For those where it doesn't: ???? A.? I have reworked the “Loop” timing option for better performance. ???? B.? I have added a third timing option, “Sleep”, which has been reported to be superior on some systems. ? Upgrade Instructions for Amateur Contact Log: ? When you upgrade to Amateur Contact Log 2.7: ? - DO NOT remove your previous version until 2.7 is up and running. - Download version 2.7 and install it. - Let the program install in the default AC Log 2.7 directory. - When the program starts for the first time, it will ask if you are upgrading.? Just answer "yes" and follow the prompts. ? As always, upgrades of Amateur Contact Log are free to registered users! ? New versions of all our contesting software are now available! ? As always, the upgrades for the contesting logs are free to registered users.? All you have to do is download the new version, install and input the password you received when you registered.? If you have registered one or more individual programs and would like to upgrade to N3FJP's Software Package ($39) or N3FJP's Software Package and CD ($49) for full use of all our Amateur Radio software, we would be glad to apply the amount that you have registered so far as a credit towards that purchase.? Please send us an e-mail, and we'll let you know your balance. ? N3FJP's Software Package now includes over 40 programs for contesting, net management, general logging, upgrading your license and other Amateur Radio related applications. In addition to full use of all these programs, registered package customers are also entitled to receive passwords for any new software that is added to the package and free upgrades to existing programs. ? CD Subscription Offering ? We have had so many customers wanting info to purchase a new CD with all the latest AC Log Ready Call Data and current versions of the programs, that we have set up a subscription offer. ? We are offering this subscription service for our customers who wish to receive a new CD every six months. When you register for this service, we will automatically send you a new CD in January and July. Your CD will have the newest AC Log ready call data from the FCC (U.S.) and RAC (Canadian) databases. ?It will also include the latest versions of all the programs and any new programs that have been added to the package in the interim. ? N3FJP's Software CD contains the installation files for all the programs that you can download freely from the website. The purchase of this service or an individual CD DOES NOT automatically register the programs. You must still register the programs individually or through one of our packages.?
