N3FJP VHF Program Upgrades & Update on Rewrite Progress!

Hi All,
?
I have two quick updates this morning:
?
?
VHF Contest 3.0 and VHF Network 2.5 are now available!
?
I've upgraded these programs to include the new ARRL VHF 3 band and FM only categories for Cabrillo output that will be options for the next contest in January.? This is the only change to these programs, so if you are not planning to use one of these categories, using 2.9 Contest or 2.4 Network is still fine.? As always, upgrades are free to registered users.
?
?
The C# rewrite is going well and I need your help!
?
As most of you know, I am in the process of rewriting all my software in C#, using the .NET framework,?so that we can have confidence N3FJP Software will continue to run well, many operating systems into the future.? I'm using a two stage process.? First I plan to write a template that has the basic functionality common to all my contesting software.? Once complete, I will roll out the contest specific programs using the template as a base.
?
I'm thrilled to report that after about 8 months work, the template is nearly complete!? With your help, I'll be able to start releasing new, C#.Net?versions of all my software soon!
?
The original versions of my software have been run on a huge variety of operating systems, hardware and network configurations.? Even more importantly, my programs have responded to combinations of?user sequences of clicks, entries and data that I could never have anticipated before or simulate now.? As anything unanticipated came to light I had the opportunity to make adjustments as needed.?
?
To approach that same level of confidence as I release the new software versions, I would love to have everyone try the template now, see if the forms display properly on your PC, experiment with all the features (including networking), pretend you are in a contest, enter contacts, write the Cabrillo file (3.0 by the way), see if the graph displays correctly, etc. before the rewrite is used in an actual contest!
?
About the only thing that is not complete in the new template?is the map.? With beta version 0.08, the only map sections that should color are EPA, NV and WCF (and even those aren't coloring cleanly yet).? Also, I have some initial Winkey code that seems to be okay, but I am working with Steve, K1EL (of Winkey) on some changes there.? Otherwise, all the other features (besides help)?are finished, unless you find something that isn't working as we think it should!
?
The template I'm building now will?be the basis for all the contests including?Field Day in June.? This is the best opportunity, right now, to make sure that the software you use for your 2013 Field Day?works as well,?if not better, than years past on your PC / monitor in the way you are used to using it.? This is also a great time to suggest any other enhancements that you would like to see in my contesting software.
?
Please download the template from:
?
?
When you start the program, if all is working right, you should see a registration screen.? To remove the screen to test the registration code and allow additional contacts past the 30 contact limit, please enter A in the call field and 6500 in the password field.? Then please simulate contest entry, test every menu item and function and send me a quick e-mail letting me know all is well or what problems you encountered.
?
Thanks so much for your help.? I really, really appreciate it!

And in response to the often asked question for which Kimberly and I are very grateful...
?
"I know your upgrades are free, but I also realize how much time and effort coding these enhancements and new programs take and that your pricing policy doesn't fully reflect that. Can I send you something to show my appreciation for your continued efforts?"
?
Yes, thanks so much, your continued support in any amount is very welcome and deeply appreciated! You can use this page:
