Well, spring is supposed to start this weekend.? Hopefully, some of us are already experiencing it.??Scott and I have several software announcements to tell you about.

The?Virginia QSO Party Log 1.0 includes all the features that you have come to expect in our software including dupe checking, multipliers changing colors when worked, rig interface, DX spotting, etc.?

The?Virginia QSO Party?Contest information can be found at the following site:? .? We have had numerous requests for this log from all of our good friends in Virginia.? Since this is our first year supporting the contest, please let us know your comments after this weekend.

The?VAQP can be downloaded from the State QSO Party Logs page on?our website.

This program is free to registered package users.? Please use your current State QSO Party Programs password to register it for permanent use.

We hope to be active in the VAQP contest this weekend to give out some points.? Hope everyone has fun!

We have had requests for several additional state qso party logs.? We will try to make these programs available before the contests; however, our backlog of upgrades and new additions is still significant.

If you submit a request for a program that you would like to see added to our software suite, please remember to include a link to current rules, etc.? This makes our evaluation and development process a whole lot easier!

The ARRL has made a couple of small changes to the Field Day Contest.? They involve changes to the Summary Sheet.? They do not affect the performance of the program as is.? Scott has adjusted the summary sheet to include the Youth bonus.? We have recompiled and uploaded the Field Day Logs, and they are ready for download.

The ARRL is awarding extra bonus points if you use their web form to create the Summary Sheet so you may wish to take advantage of this option instead of creating the Summary Sheet from our software.? Please see the ARRL website for more information - .

Upgrade Information:

If you have registered one or more individual programs and would like to upgrade to N3FJP's Software Package ($39) or N3FJP's Software Package and CD ($49) for full use of all our Amateur Radio software, we would be glad to apply the amount that you have registered so far as a credit towards that purchase. Please send us an e-mail, and we'll let you know your balance.

N3FJP's Software Package now includes over 40 programs for contesting, net management, general logging, upgrading your license and other Amateur Radio related applications. In addition to full use of all these programs, registered package customers are also entitled to receive passwords for any new software that is added to the package and free upgrades to existing programs.
