Corrected Link: Winter Field Day Password for Package Users - Quick Reminder!
Hi All, Oops, in this morning's e-mail, I accidentally pasted the rules link for the software location. ?You'll find the Winter Field Day Software here:
http://www.n3fjp.com/winterfieldday.html
Also, please be sure that you have downloaded the correct software from the link above. ?Several folks have been trying to set up the ARRL Field Day software (summer) to use for Winter Field Day by mistake. ?To be able to log the Winter Field Day exchange and submit your log, you have to use the Winter Field Day software (version 1.4). ?The correct program will say Winter Field Day Contest Log 1.4 in the Title bar at the top left.
Package users who have registered in the past year - you will find your Winter Field Day password listed as SPAR Winter Field Day Contest Log. ?The SPAR folks had been administering Winter Field Day until recently.
And for those of you who would like to participate in Winter Field Day but don't want to venture out in the cold, don't worry, you don't have to! ?There are categories for indoor and home stations and you can use commercial power!
Enjoy!

?
Hi All,
Interest in this weekend's Winter Field Day is really ramping up! ?This is just a quick reminder that if you've purchased the full N3FJP Software package, WFD is included, but since I just added support for WFD a year ago, if you registered before then, the password isn't in your package list. ?
Lot's of package subscribers have already e-mailed Kimberly and me requesting their password for this program, but if you haven't yet, please don't wait until Saturday morning! ?If you think you might join in the fun this weekend, please send us a quick e-mail now, so that we can get your WFD password out to you in time for the contest.
You'll find the Winter Field Day software here:
And the Winter Field Day rules here:
I hope to work you this weekend!
And in response to the questions we always receive when we neglect to include the following in our e-mail announcements... ? ?
Package Upgrade Information... ??
If you have registered one or more individual programs and would like to upgrade to N3FJP's Software Package or N3FJP's Software Package and CD for full use of all our Amateur Radio software, we would be glad to apply the amount that you have registered so far as a credit towards that purchase. Please send us an e-mail directly and we'll let you know your balance. ??
N3FJP's Software Package includes approximately 100 programs for contesting, net management, general logging and other Amateur Radio related applications. In addition to full use of all these programs, registered package customers are also entitled to receive free passwords for any new software that is added to the package and free upgrades to existing programs. You'll find all the details on the Register Now page here:?
Donations are Gratefully Accepted!?
And in response to the often asked question for which Kimberly and I are very grateful... ?
"I know your upgrades are free, but I also realize how much time and effort coding these enhancements and new programs take and that your pricing policy doesn't fully reflect that. Can I send you something to show my appreciation for your continued efforts?" ??
Yes, thanks so much, your continued support in any amount is very welcome and deeply appreciated! You can use this page: ?
or send your contribution by mail, payable to Affirmatech Inc., to: ?
G. Scott Davis

Bel Air, MD 21014-5533 ?
Thank you so much for your continued support! ?
Thanks!??
As always, thanks for your kind words, support, linking to our web site and spreading the word about our software. Kimberly and I really appreciate it! ?

p.s. If you want to unsubscribe or need to change your e-mail address for future announcements....?
The way Yahoo groups are set up, it is much easier for subscribers to unsubscribe from the old e-mail address than for the list owner to do it for you. In addition, Yahoo now prohibits list owners from adding anyone, so it is impossible for me to add your new e-mail address. ?
Fortunately, it is very easy for subscribers to unsubscribe and resubscribe.?

Please go ahead and make that change.
