Use AC Log for ARRL's Centennial QSO Party - A Really Neat Event and Once in a Lifetime Opportunity!

?
Hi All,?
?
I hope that everyone is having a very merry Christmas and wonderful Holiday Season!?
?
I've been receiving lots of questions on the?really neat event that ARRL has coming up for 2014 - The Centennial QSO Party!?
?
Working all 50 states (WAS) is a great goal of many hams.? It's challenging, but with some patience, it is well within the realm of even quite modest stations.?
?
Once hams get WAS, then many set goals of attaining WAS on each individual HF band and / or doing it again QRP (low power).? That's a lot harder, but still possible for most over a lifetime of hamming.? But, how about this....?
?
How many hams can say that they have worked the same station call sign in all 50 states in one year for their WAS award?? By the end of 2014, you might be one of them!?
?
The ARRL is having a Centennial QSO Party in 2014.? Part of that event includes W1AW operating from all 50 states (and most territories) over the course of the year.? Keep up with their moves and by the end of 2014, you will be in a very select group!?
?
There appears to be quite a bit of interest for this event!??I've been receiving a number?requests from folks, wondering if I am going to create a specific application to track progress, not only in working W1AW, but for points from other stations that you work throughout the year during the Centennial QSO Party.?
?
Since "QSOs do not have to be contest style and it isn’t necessary to exchange the ARRL organizational information", Amateur Contact Log?will be best to use for this event.? In addition, point values are based on criteria that may not be part of the exchange.? According to the rules, by uploading your contacts to LoTW, your scoring will be updated for you automatically throughout this year long event, so you can track your score simply by uploading to LoTW from AC Log!
?
All the details, including scoring and?the W1AW operating schedule for each state,?are here:?

?
?
Remember, you can always customize AC Log to suite your contest style exchange by clicking Settings > Edit Fields Displayed for just the fields you want to use.? Click Settings > Fill Fields on Call tab to instantly populate the exchange fields when you tab from the Call field.
?
Enjoy the Centennial QSO Party!?
