Very Cool Nathan! It sounds like you scored well by devoting time to it and coming up with a good strategy. It's always fun to better your previous year's score! I started out planning to operate QRP CW only, but quickly bailed on that plan as competition for bandspace with the guys doing the FOC CW contest was pretty fierce. So I changed to 100 watts and made my challenge to beat my last year's score. It seems the last several years I always come in at 5th place- this year I hoped to achieve 4th. At the top is some real tough competition that I will never catch, such as my friend Ron, KK1L who is a very skilled contest monster and always quadruples my score. (Chittenden Co) In the end, judging by reported scores on the 3830 score page, I should alas, be in 5th spot again! Lol. It is strange how close our SSB and Digi numbers are. My results: CW- 314 QSOs - 62 multipliers Digi- 125 QSOs- 25 multipliers SSB- 79 QSOs- 35 multipliers Always a fun contest. Don't forget the New England QSO Party in May- Bennington Co is rare on that as well. Randy On Wed, Feb 12, 2025 at 10:06?PM Nathan Mazanec via <nathan.mazanec=[email protected]> wrote:
