I'm using version 2.70 of the Contact Mananger to attempt to open a file I saved using version 1.59 of the Tera DMR CPS. When I attempt to open that file, Contact Manager gives me the error: "Failed to load Codeplug; the specified file is invalid."

Any assistance would be appreciated.

All,
If you have an Alinco DJ-MD5FXT, you should be able to use Contact Manager to work with your codeplugs, but alas, there is a CPS bug. This model (and its CPS) come from Anytone. The CPS "About" command reports version "1.00" and? copyright date of "2019-2020."
The problem is that the CPS appears broken when it comes to reading DCF files, which are used for Contact Manager to work with. The CPS writes perfectly good DCF files that Contact Manager can read with no problem.
However, the CPS can't read back DCF files, reporting "file error." It will even fail to read back files it just wrote (without being touched by Contact Manager).
If you own this model, you may want to reach out the vendor to give them a heads up. I've forwarded the information to the engineering team at Anytone. It looks like a great model and is very reasonably priced.

I've used an AT 868 for some time and done a lot of programming with it and contract manager so not a newbie with this.
I've been trying to open a new codeplug from a new AT D578UV III Plus
I read the new radio and exported to dcf. however when I try to open it with contact manager it crashes.
I have the AT D578 version 1.15 and contact manager v270 I've attached the base file from the D578 (the one that was in the new radio) assuming this allows attachments.

I've test 878 v1.26 works correctly with DCF... I reordered zones and channels in ContactManager and the changes imported correctly.

I agree with the 1.5 version working, I tried this version this morning and then we left for some appointments. Will try 2.4 later today. I'm working to get my code plug in my new 578, but at least Contact Manager is no longer giving errors.
