Re: Too many ModIO's defined in the Configs
The very earlyModIO manual or board diagram had an error on the RS485 connection. This is possibly your problem. I don't remember the details, so I can't give them.

Re: Help - ver 2.2 not working well in MPG mode
Hi Jason,
The version of the ModIO or the firmware should have no effect on using the ModIO for a pendant.
Have you tuned the MPG under the Config tab in Mach3? That needs to be

I need to create a brain to do the following.

Re: INTERFACING? ROTARY SWITCH ADVICE NEEDED. Please help!
Hello Gerald,
It looks like I'm a bit late on this.
However the code goes in what is called a macropump.
It is aptly named as it runs a macro continuosly (if it's built right )
The VB script is

Re: INTERFACING? ROTARY SWITCH ADVICE NEEDED. Please help!
I used a unique mixture of analog and brains to get everything talking the way I wanted it to. I will say that VB script running in Mach 3 seems to be somewhat glitchy. Another thing about the VB

Re: INTERFACING? ROTARY SWITCH ADVICE NEEDED. Please help!
Hi Gerald,
When setting up Modbus in Mach3 there are 2 different ways to do it.
1. Legacy Modbus I/F
2. Plugin Support Modbus I/F
The legacy interface was the original modbus interface written in

Re: INTERFACING ROTARY SWITCH ADVICE NEEDED. Please help!
Hi,
Yes, I agree with Lee. A resistive network is the best use of the ModIO' inputs.
On the subject of multiple ModIOs, there is no issue with the ModIO's being able to do this. The Plugin when

Hi Gerald,
I did a step by step on Peter’s ModIO for a console connected to Mach3. The
instructions are probably a little basic for your level but if you skip over
the simple bits the connections

Hi Lee and thanks for the reply.
Appreciate your comments. I suspected the analog route would be the best way to go and is easy enough to build up. I have no problems with the hardware side of

Re: INTERFACING ROTARY SWITCH ADVICE NEEDED. Please help!
My advice would be analog with a resistive ladder. For more inputs u should be able to connect the modios together in a daisy chain. If Peter is listeneing he was going to check into this over a year

The ModIP is alive. (Almost)
Hi all,
Over the last 12 months (or longer), I've been working on the ModIP. The ModIP
is a Modbus slave on steroids.
Firstly it connects to Mach3 via Ethernet, hence the IP in ModIP. It uses
