Miniature Machine Tools and Tool Making. [email protected]
A place where one can find and share information about the old and new miniature tooling from professional model shops and miniature pattern makers. Topics on specialized replica engineering, fabrication and antique tool restoration are all fair game. Improvements and modifications to small machine tools such as Emco Maier, Dremel, Prox-xon model workshop equipment, the Sherline lathe and mill, Microlux, Minitech, Taig, Bohler, Unimat, Preac, Jarmac, etc. Basically a place where model makers, machinists, toy makers, horologists and engineers can discuss their tooling needs and ideas. Vintage tools such as the 6" Atlas and 9" South Bend Lathes, clockmaker and watchmaker tooling, sheet metal machinery, miniature welding and torch equipment are also welcome subjects. Micro wood workers such as model ship builders and the scale cabinetmaker, dollhouse makers and pen turners are also welcome.
