Re: Cheap, Makeshift Parabolic Dishes?
Yes dis network.. I am fairly certain they are parabolic or at least close. I made one into a sun reflector once and it easily focused the sunlight into and area about the size of a ping pong ball. I

Re: Cheap, Makeshift Parabolic Dishes?
In the past, getting old used satellite dishes was the way, but with modern beamforming they aren't always parabolic anymore and so aren't as common these days, not necessarily cheap, etc. If you have

You need to buy the SSM2017 and 2019 from a reliable source. Pretty sure that Analog Devices and TI don't license out their analog IP. Jules -- Best Regards, Jules Ryckebusch 214 399 0931 Linkedin

Cheap, Makeshift Parabolic Dishes?
Hey all - I'm curious if people here have any recommendations for cheap, makeshift parabolic reflectors? I'd like to experiment a bit with the idea, but I'm hesitant to spend $80 on some meticulously

Re: Do microphones age and how?
This is a great question. They do age, I don¡¯t think there have been studies on it. Ribbon and condensers will have physical changes due to stretching tensioning etc. electrolytic caps age, can dry

Re: Simple set up for concert recording?
That's an interesting concept. Do you have any raw source files for this system? I'm curious to listen to what can be done. Thanks! Ilya
