Larger hole == higher resonance; smaller hole == lower

This was off the top of my head thinking that the hole is the damper, or air flow resistance
to the cavity's acoustic spring. Increase the resistance, and the energy stored in
the spring bounces back out slower.

Mike, I don't have the equations in front of me ....Anybody
know the equation?

My advice is to not mess with the hole in the front cavity.

You asked for equations, you got equations!
Thanks, Dick. F. Alton Everest and I just got back downstairs ... F. Alton lives in the
bathroom, and I was just going over general resonance with him. But he doesn't treat
the microphone case specifically, and Dick just did. Thanks again.
