Hi everyone. I've been playing around with a few DIY mics and have successfully mated an China gold 25mm capsule and k596 FET to a modified(per Audioimprov's great site) China electret-to-P48 board. That turned out better than expected and sounds really good.
For my second build I have some JLI160A11UC680 3-wire capsules. I'm wondering about mating them to the OPA-Alice circuit, but am a little unsure of how to make this 3 wire capsule work with the OPA Alice circuit without modding the capsule to remove the internal FET. It might be obvious, but I'm struggling a bit here cognitively due to illness.
