It seems that the same lousy scan is the only copy available. I've DLed from several sites and it's one after another, same lo-res copy. Virtually unusable. Does anybody have one, or a link to a better version? Thnx 73 K7AMR Robert B.

I am looking for the manual for servicing the General Resistance DAS 45 CC. I do have the manuals available on KO4BB, but this unit is not included. It has more adjustment points. I need to service the above receiver including an RF/IF alignment. So if you have, or know of, any PDF or hard copy manuals for this receiver, then that would be enormously helpful.. Happy to pay $$$ If you have the hard copy manual only, then I'm happy to pay in advance for the cost of having it scanned by your local professional copier service. This way at least the manual will be scanned and preserved. There were originally a set of three manuals so far as I can tell. Kind regards, Terry.

Hi All, I bought a "tested" VP-8131A FM stereo generator only to be able to prove a month later the stereo MPX section isn't working. No support and I can't find a manual for it. I am experienced in test equipment service, but I don't want to go into this unit without the manual. Who knows what I might find. Any help would be deeply appreciated. -Chris

Hi all I spent about an hour this morning searching for the manual to the MX-949/U or MX-949A/U tube tester adapter. This is a US military adapter that goes with the I-177 tube tester and adds several sockets and many new tubes to test. It is vintage 1945, and was in service until at least the mid-1950s. I used to find this manual everywhere, and while Nolan Lee was still alive, I could email him and he'd shoot me a copy or add it to his web page for me. It's not on BAMA, but there's a schematic there, which is a good start. Still, I need the whole manual. Any hints? Any links? Ideally I'll find an MX-949/U at the next swap fest, but the schematic alone is enough for me to be able to build one. But I'd like the manual to go with it. Thanks in advance, and 73 Jim N6OTQ
