Antiseptic, Betadine type, sterilized compresses, synthetic and other, mercryl, ethyl alcohol, dakin, hexamidine, mercurochrome ... If you have the possibility to bring back, It will be with great pleasure even at the end of the stay, because here it is an
important need.

We also seek for our library all types of works, Magazines even recently outdated beauty, health, decoration, economic, travel, crossed arrow games, even

I think Celine is many years on Nosy Be and she knows what the people there need. What is the different over Organisation or direct to the people what the Help needs. They have No medicine they can Not buy medicine and so on.
In t31 we have given our help direct to the people there .
Always reservations about this and that. ?Johannes should also be our 5th man in case one of us drops out. ?now he flies alone how should e.g. ern? or I send our luggage in case of failure. ?I'm starting to regret having organized this trip
at all.

Best would be to donate something in a structured manner and that we can also learn how things will be use/distributed. Obviously we can go out into the villages and hand-out all kind of things, but it would
be better if we involve the organization. Perhaps we can involve Celine in this where she can give some more information on how they would distribute these things and what will be done with it.
I actually think that going on a quad into a village and hand-out to the children and parents is not how I see charity.

fortunate and rich "Westerners" are going to visit one of the
poorest countries in the World (in fact Madagascar is top 3
poorest countries in the World).

My idea would be to participate in
some kind of charity while we are visiting. As we are already
fully packed, brining items with us is not very realistic,
however if we have some spare old mobile phones etc. this could
be of help maybe. In addition we could do a fundraiser, but I
would personally like to make it practical and concrete and for
example purchase items for a school or Project directly while we
are there, so we don't transfer money but donate goods and can
see and show our lenders what we actually supported.

I have some experience with charity
and donating in Africa, but would like to hear from you about
your ideas and thoughts. In the meantime I can search for some
charities / NGO's around Nosy-Be.
