I installed a system for my brother- being used by a bunch of high school kids.

Somehow they can only get the Jog screen up by using <ctl>TAB. TAB alone will not do it.

They have also managed to get both the Cont and Step jog LEDs on at the same time, and the machine will only jog continious.

This is with R1.83.046

How did they do this, and how do we get out of it?

Thats a cute one..

Hmm, the tab key is hard wired. They must have some sort of sticky keys turned on. Windows has a sticky key fnctionallity where if you hold down the ctrl key for so many seconds, it will lock it on, and you need to press it to turn it off. This woudl also make the jog work like that. When your in inc mode, pressing ctrl gives you a cont. jog. So for some reason, Windows thinks the ctrl is pressed. Id check the control panel under keyboard ..or stick keys..somethign like that. Alternately, press and hold the ctrl for 20 seconds..anything happen??
