Re: Mach3 pwm Spindel analog Output csmio

Hello my name is Ed and I have a small cnc router and it was working fine and then I broke some pins and ordered a new control box and every since then it doesn't work right.
I live in Troy Mo. and would gladly pay someone to help me get it going again. Thanks I think it's a mogul. 636-358-1088

Hey all?
Does anyone here use a csmio-ip-s or similar controller under mach3 ??
How do I configure the 0-10v pwm signal on analogue out ??
Configuring a porentionmeter(analogue in) was no problem?
But I do not get an output signal?
Greetings Sven?

Re: Mach 3 Mill, Exact stop

Stopping after each g-code line is what mach-3 does when it is in single step mode.? Check your setup and config file to make sure this is not the case.

Re: Mach 3 Mill, Exact stop

Code block, I mean each individual instruction. No its not mechanical, I have a hand controller and motion is smooth and and calibration is very good.?
?
I thought originally it was a PC issue, then replace the box, motion under code is just the same.
?
Ideas???
Regards
Graham

Re: Mach 3 Mill, Exact stop

Hi Graham, not sure what you mean by each code block.? One thing you might check is to see if the machine is slipping steps due to binding or excessive friction.? Sam

Re: Mach 3 Mill, Exact stop

Edited

My thoughts as well. Alt-N or the button on the tool path screen will toggle it. When it is on the yellow LED above the button will flash.

Re: Mach 3 Mill, Exact stop

Haven’t got single block mode turned on?

Mach 3 Mill, Exact stop

I have re commissioned my 3 axis mill, All goes well, Except!!!
The machine stops at each code block. Appears if smoothing, forward looking is not working. I have changed the CV Control settings, made no difference. Selected Constant Velocity/Exact Stop. Bought a new computer , thinking the older one was not up to the task. Made no difference.
?
Can you offer any ideas???

Firstly, thanks to all those whose advice helped me all those years ago setting up my first CNC machine.
?
Two disasters impacted my early use- my laptop with a parallel port got stolen and the insurance wouldn't replace it with a similar item.
?
I solved this by building a desktop using a core board that included parallel. Unfortunately, a mouse plague meant that the innards of this got eaten and wrecked.
?
When researching a replacement, I found that for my needs at least it was cheaper and easier to use Open-Source, USB oriented software now.
?
I had dismantled my original CNC and rebuilt it with one using 3D printed parts. This one is bigger and more accurate.
?
Anyway, thanks again to the community and good times with your CNC-ing!

Re: script brain

Hello everyone
I'm struggling with my brain, but I've made progress. My relay works as I want, but I'm stuck on the lighting of the led linked to the relay.
This led has the code OEMled=1011 and I would like it to light up steadily
Thanks in advance for your help
++ Gilles

hello
thanks for the macro example
i will read this carefully and i will not fail to come back to you

hello everyone
in the meantime, I racked my brain :o) and I managed to make my relay work
I just renamed the OEM code of a led
on the "Ports and Pins" side I understood their usefulness to do external actions
thanks for the info

Re: script brain

I have various macros and have attached a pdf of them that may help you sort it out. You will need to get the Input and output numbers from the mach3 manual.

Re: script brain

I wrote a script many years ago and don't remember much.
Have you tried "Ports & Pins" you can select outputs there.

Could you describe in more detail what you are trying to do? I understand activate a relay, but "when a led is on" I don't understand.

Micro Switch CNC Shield V3

Hi everyone , I need some help with the home_sense and the pins associated for micro switches. The page says that the correct pins are GPIO 18 and GPIO21 (CNC Shield V3) but the last one doesnt exist. And then , I use another pins which fix this error but it continues failling when the switch is pressed
