I have uploaded a spreadsheet to the files section (Accel.xls)that
will tell you the distance to get to speed and I put in a little
thing for threading. If you input pitch, acceleration and the Rpm it
will tell you the distance to accel and the velocity needed to cut
the thread. I hope this helps and if you would like a better sheet I
could make a spreadsheet with this stuff in it an a bunch of the
things like speeds, feed and steps per unit etc...
