Re: Raster to Vector Converion - Try Rasterfratz

Rather than me re-inventing the wheel, has anyone evaluated the
varoious utilities for converting raster images to vector ??
I tried Streamline and own a copy of Corel Trace. Both work but smoothing was a real
problem. I had trouble smoothing what needed smoothing but leaving the detail
alone.

I also use Vector, so I downloaded a copy of Rasterfratz and it worked beautifully. It
works seamlessly with Vector but also exports a DXF. The trial version is free. You
should give it a try. I had a small project that I was able to do using the trial version.
If more of those types of projects come along, I will definitely register. I think the
price is $125. Well worth if for the amount of time it saved me.
