I gave a complex answer to a simple question. The simple answer is
that you can't test MACH1/2 in closed loop because it doesn't do
closed loop.
OK, I asked and I got the answer.
It's not a real problem, however. I already decided to go with servos.
I just wondered if anything good could be done with steppers and
encoders together.
But I've another question now, when you say MACH isn't a closed loop
system, what do you mean ?
Will this affect Mach performances if using G320/340 or Rutex
drivers ?
And which driver does perform better ? G320, G340 or even Rutex ?
