Yes, that is correct. You can generate a JOB file, which saves all your operations and input values. You can then load the job file on a system with a license and generate gcode with it.

Depending on how you prefer to work you can put the licensee on your desk machine and do all your design there, then take the gcode to the shop. You can also do your design and see the resulting graphic, save the job file and do the gcode on the machine in your shop.

We tried to make it flexible, give you a nice demo version, but still restrict it so you would buy a license. We were not doing software for charity, as I assume you don't give away your work.
