Unless something has changed recently, there really is no good Mach4 support group.
There is a section at CNCZone, but it is more useful for "how to edit scripts" than for bug reports and the like.
Machsupport also has a group, but it was pretty sparse last time I checked.
To get support you need to submit a ticket on the Machsupport website, and they will do their best to help you out.
One of the best things about the Mach3 support groups in the past was that I would see all of the problems that people were having, and the solutions, so I could just search the archive if I had a vague recollection of hearing about some issue I was having. I think that Brian's decision to do support only through individual cases is unfortunate, because they may solve the same problem 1000 times for 1000 different people, but there is no way for anyone else to get the benefit of that. The 1001st person will still have to submit a ticket and get individual help...
