¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Dan, I couldn't agree more. I try to avoid eBay unless there are no other options. In mu opinion, Amazon appears to be the most reliable for shipping. Cheers, Peter On 2/03/2021 6:05 am, Dan Mauch wrote:
? ?I am working on a project that I am using a Gecko g540 and a linear rail. I needed a part for the rotating portion and checked EBAY and Amazon. They both had the part that I needed but EBAY was cheaper. The listing said that item location was Altadena CA. I live in WA. There were other sellers that also listed places like OK and TN. But since CA is only 2 days shipping to WA I decided to go with them. A day after I ordered I got notification from FedEx that a shipping document had been prepared and the estimated delivery date was 2-20 which was only 3-4 days. Yea!? But as it got closer I got another notification from FedEx that shipping was from New jersey and would be 2-26. Now I know that in the winter shipments are often delayed from the east coast? that why I ordered from CA. The item has been in transit since 2-25 and is stuck in ND. and only a pending date. It is now 3-1 and still no part. I had complained to EBAY help desk chat and they agreed that the seller misrepresented the location of the item and it originated in Hong Kong and they would take action. A week later I checked up on this seller and found that he is still listing item locations as CA. eBay's seller and their help desk also mislead me on their corrective action. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Web : email : groups@...
