While I have time on my hands, I decided to get around to installing bits I've purchased over the last couple of years. I've hit a snag on the MFJ 1263 radio/microphone switch. I've managed to get it partly working. It works with (Radio A) the Yaesu FTDX101D, Heil Pro 7 head set (Mic 1), and Yaesu M-100 Desk mic (Mic 2).
I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to work with (Radio B) a Yaesu FT847.
It should be the stock pin set, but it's not?.
I've tried every pin set in the book and found a few others online.
One came close where it keyed up, but the Mic wouldn't work. Another would toggle through memory channels when ptt is pushed.?
I even got through to Jimmy in MFJ, and he's at a loss, too.?
If you have any ideas on the 847 Pin set, please share.?
