New M17 user on WPSD

 

I just started trying M17 using a WPSD hotspot and a CS7000-M17 HT. I updated my MMDVM to 1.6.1 and did the M17 configuration. The CS-7000 is using the hotspot freq and M17 #ALL.

I can connect the hotspot to M17-PNW Module A, shows my registration and TX on their dashboard

I haven't made a contact yet.

I can link to M17-M17 Module C, but I do not see my registration or my transmissions. ?The hotspot will not stay linked to M17-M17. ?It seems to timeout. ?Same results when I connect to M17-KCW Module A (KC-Wide).

Does it have something to do with my hosts file, M17Hosts.txt? I ran WPSD update and it does show hosts files updated.

I'm bringing my hotspot and CS7000 to Hamvention later this week. ?Maybe we should establish a simplex frequency? There is a thread for Hamvention but a simplex freq was not mentioned.

If you want to try some testing we can select a time today to try and make a contact.? I am also here in MD, in Woodbine.

I have listened to M17 with my hotspot, but there is not much activity, made a few contacts on M17-M17.

Today at 1600 or later in the evening is good for me on M17-M17?
