Unfortunately, that is not true. When Trump was originally elected in 2016, he did not qualify to view classified information, because of his foreign debt he owed to China. However, being elected president automatically gives him access to classified information, regardless of whether he would pass the normal security protocol. From what I understand, the people he selects for his cabinet are also given automatic access, whether or not they would pass the security protocol. ?But I do think now that the military knows that Trump stole classified information, left it laying around for anyone to see, quite possibly sold it, and was most likely the “leak” that got over 30 spies killed between 2016 – 2018….well, I think our military will not be as open about what information they put in official documents or share with Trump. And that isn’t a good situation for many reasons, so I am praying/hoping/voting that Trump will never again be reelected.
