Re: Friday Five March 29

Sorry, Celeste. We were discussing why I worded a question a certain way and I referred to you as my inspiration and motivation for doing so as too?literal an interpretation of the question would have bypass the fundamental point I was trying to emphasize. The point I was hoping for would involve a proactive elaboration, but my initial wording became a little convoluted after I tried to illustrate?that?I was after a broad definition of human life vs. animal life rather than a specific individual human life vs a specific individual animal's. You often toss back questions that are unclearly worded and I remembered this as I was seeking the best format for my question.

Darrell,

I honestly don't understand what your reference to me is supposed to mean. Nor do I understand why you referenced me. Please explain.

Aloha,
Celeste

If you meant my questions, Ed, I was asking if the3 generic human l;ife was more valuable than the generic life of a member of another species. I was trying to avoid Celeste's almost guaranteed qualifier, "...this is impossible to answer since I do not know which?human or which dog..." (Love you, Celeste!)
