Hand controller not manually slewing via arrows

I have been using NINA to 3 point polar align. After it finishes, I use the hand controller (or NINA, depending on my mood) to slew to some bright star to focus. If I need to move the scope to find the star (which sometimes I do, even when NINA error is less than 1') I try to use the hand controller buttons to look for the star. However, it will not move the mount (even though I just slewed to the star via its goto). If I have not used NINA to direct the mount, the hand controller works.?

Are these two in conflict? Is there a setting somewhere I need to toggle between them? Or ???

Hi chuck

Are you referring to the physical hand controller?

I recall something about nina 3 point alignment parking the mount (or stopping tracking) after completing, so you might check to see if it's tracking

Also a couple other things:
- make sure your speed is slew and not guide
- you must be on the home screen for any direction buttons to work on the HC

Yes, the physical hand controller.
