Re: Need advice selling my Losmandy G11 492 Digital Drive
Hi Jeff Pete had some very good advice for you, and fwiw I concur. Another alternate to sell your equipment is Cloudy Nights in the Classified section. I have used CN but prefer to use A-M if

Astromart is a lot different from ebay.? I have had several problems on ebay and once I have started an ebay dispute, I have never lost a case yet. I have found Astromart to be a good place to buy

Need advice selling my Losmandy G11 492 Digital Drive
I am selling my entire Losmandy G11 492 (non-GOTO). I am the original owner and used it about 40 nights 2011 - 2013. Since then it has been rarely used due to a move to cloudy skies and no backyard.

Re: Steel worms. Should I change them?
Ok. I have a short anecdote. I attended a hospital management retreat a few years ago. One of the hospital board members and I chatted. She said she was a relative of Murphy. The Murphy. She said he

Re: Mechanical way to reduce 32s PE?
32s is the time taken for the 1st intermediate gear to rotate 1 revolution (the motor pinion moves this gear).? Thus It won't be effected much by the motor pinion gear .....the jump is more likely

I guess the last two posts better phrased my question and gave me the answer I was looking for.? I understand Murphy's Law and personally I think that Murphy was an optimist. I really have two goals

It has been a long time since I did that work on my first CG11, but yes...the brass were better. I can't recall exactly what my original PE was on the steel one that came with the (Celestron G11 or

Mechanical way to reduce 32s PE?
For the Losmandy gearboxes, is there any mechanical way to reduce the 32s (7.5x) periodic error (i.e., not using PEC, or replacing with another Losmandy or McLennan) for example by adjusting the motor

Re: Losmandy G11 Gemini 1 Battery
Hi, Finally I could test it with a new battery, and works perfect with the equipment at 1200 slew rate. The problem was Tha output and cables of the old battery, that couldn't supply enough amperes.
