Russ, My setup is on a permanent pier in a ROR observatory.? I set my "Home" position to be 90 degrees, where my counterweight bar is level to the deck, and park at Home when I finish observing.?

I park my RC 10 on parallel to earth with the scope on the east and the scope pointed about 20 Degrees down so that dust will not collect as much. You can set this as your home position using the hand
