After successfully initializing the site CWD, you can physically adjust or check the declination of a G11 with the Dec saddle spirit level. When positioned at Zenith, the Dec spirit level should be horizontal, assuming the OTA is vertically aligned at zenith and the saddle is set by Gemini to align with the Zenith at the Site Latitude. If it's not level, you can make adjustments using the Altitude knob. To view the level from below, a small mirror can be utilized.
