I think some people switch the donut and wavy washer, but the first arrangement is how it comes from the factory.

Absolutely!.. The Wavy Washer goes against the clutch knob.. This puts both thrust washers against a fully flat surface *and* helps keep dirt out of the roller bearing.. Works far better for me..

BTW.. I am about to list my G11/Gemini II for sale on CN.. If anyone wants it, especially if you live in CA and I can avoid shipping it, that would be great.. In fact I am selling everything.. Too blind now.. :-((

Oh.. The G11 is 2 piece worm blocks, polar scope, and all the Michael Herman upgrades.. 0.6¡± RMS tracking..

Hi Dale,

After reinserting the shaft through the mount, the components go on as follows: flat washer, thrust bearing, flat washer, wavy washer, anodized black donut, clutch knob. I think some people switch the donut and wavy washer, but the first arrangement is how it comes from the factory. The lube they use here is the Jet-Lube Artic grease, but just some wheel bearing grease will do. Having a few spare clutch discs from Losmandy on hand will help if you ever get stuck and the old ones are too worn out. You can order off their webpage.
