I'm curious if anyone here is getting good imaging results with a 130mm refrcator on their G11G?? ?
I've been trying with my C11 at f/7, which is double the focal length of most 130s so much harder, but its just crazy behavior.? Good guiding less than 1rms for a while, then a HUGE swing in RA, like 20arc-s. (problems I didn't have with my 75/400mm refractor)? ? I think its just too much for the mount photographically, which I knew could be the case.? Or maybe its the limited guide settings in the ASI AIr.? ?
Either way, thinking of getting something between the 75mm at 400mm focal length and the C11 f/7 at 2000mm.? The 130mm refractors at f7-8 are 900-1000mm.? Long scopes.? How well does the G11G fare with those??
