I use the two cases that Losmandy makes/made. They their bases have plates where the two axis attach securely. Their covers are somewhat flimsy, but the important bits use metal clamps. I don't see any problem with them TBH, as they are ultra light, hold up the axis in the best possible way, and are easy to transport. When using for storage and car transport, they work perfectly fine. They are not for flying with though, you would need a heftier (possibly heavier) solution for that.
I am quite happy with them and did not feel the need to return them when used with the right expectations.
