Hi,
I have recently picked up an old used G11 with Gemini 1 and the original smooth servo motors. I understand that to upgrade the motors I would also need to upgrade the gearboxes. Is this correct?
whilst I haven¡¯t had much chance to test the mount yet, my main questions are:
1. What are the advantages of the HT motors compared to the original smooth motors?
2. Is it worth upgrading?
I do also have a GM8 with HT motors and Gemini 1. Would these be a straight swap?
Im in the UK so any ordering gets expensive with shipping and taxes so it¡¯s not something that I will definitely do.
