Thanks Mearl, that gives me hope that the replacement scope will be an improvement.
I have always assumed my guiding is OK but since this is my first attempt at guiding I have nothing to compare it to. Brian suggested my guide logs looked noisy and I was wondering if that could be because my stars were too soft, making the centroid measurement less precise.
