Re: Time specification with Gemini II

When in doubt, do a cold start. and if that's in doubt, do a reset to
HGM defaults

Brian,

Thanks for the link. I haven't done a cold start since putting in the new battery.

It's worth using the tool at gemini-2 to confirm your settings (in a
format you can use for Gemini II)

Can you elaborate on what's happening - you mentioned warm restart -
what about a cold start?

Magnus,

It is roughly an hour. I haven't tried to get a more accurate estimate, but I think that's pretty close. That correlation with DST is why I looked at the time in the handset :(

Hi!

1 hour sounds like something to do with summer time. Precisely or roughly one hour?

Hi All.

I recently swapped my battery, following the guidance from the group. All appears well...except, something puzzles me. The last couple of warm restarts put my first goto off the mark...by roughly an hour. I checked my handset time, etc., and it accurately indicates correct present standard time and my location having GMT -6. While I have continued to use the existing model after a sync on each side of the meridian, I'm curious why my warm restarts no longer go to the first target. I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks,
Matt
