The ebay link sure makes that blue beam stand out, almost looks like it would be 1kW instead of 1mW ;)
In fact it looks brighter than the lasers used for adaptive optics on the big boy observatories...
For 12 bucks though it will be an interesting experiment!
I already have an old radio shack 12vdc to 3-12vdc switchable adapter already wired with a RCA plug on my optical deck, so all I will need to do is fit a RCA jack to to the back of the new pointer...
I'll post some results when it arrives!
