Hi,
I recently purchased a well taken care of used G-11 mount with HD tripod. I attached the mount to the tripod, attached my modest scope, balanced the mount, powered up the system.
The mount will not slew in any direction. I have tightened the clutches, loosened the clutches, checked the power supply output, tried all different speeds, etc.
When I take removed the worm screw covers, it appears that either worm is not engaging the RA or DEC gear. The stepper motors are working and turning the worm, but obviously if worm not engaging the gears, nothing going on. Any suggestions?
