I agree with Paul. I use Losmandy style dovetails?on all of my rigs except an 80mm refractor, but even that one the Vixen dovetail is solid and well machined. We have way too much money into this hobby to risk something as simple as attachments dumping two or three thousand bucks on the ground.

Hi Brian,
I attached two photos below.
You can see that the Vixen cut-out has a short base on the screw side of only a few mm wide.? It is easy to clamp the scope right below the cut-out.? If it were 5 mm wider, that would be much better.?
The issue is exacerbated because the dovetail has a metal plate attached to it if you look carefully (I don't know why, both my Mak-Newt and ES ED127CF have such a plate), which makes it even easier for that to happen.
Please don't?remove the level to make space, we love the levels!
