Just to clarify - you use this setup for long exposure imaging, correct? My main concern with a Newtonian, aside for the weight and size, would be the issue with the camera, focuser, corrector, etc. all hanging off to one side of the optical axis. Just want to verify that the GM811G is up to the task.
