You can use them all over the mount and tripods for things that need regular adjustment and additional leverage. The great thing for those who don't know it is that the levers can be repositioned as needed to make access easier for adjustment or to clear mechanical interference.?
There are also metal versions available as seen on the Berlebach tripods. I use them on other tripods for locking the legs too. Great stuff.?
