Nice tip Brian! I kinda gave up on the SharpCap alignment since it was taking a long long time to plate solve for me with the main cam. Right now I'm at 1645mm with the focal reducer and heavily light polluted skies. The app probably wasn't seeing enough stars. But even after doing the SharpCap precision align, my drift alignment was still a bit off. Alt/Az adjustments using drifting is still the gold standard IMO. After several iterations with the latter (in PHD2), I get very little frame drift even after long imaging runs. But I think I will try the Polemaster cam the next time round.
