Hi Sonny, glad you go out to something any how.?
I have found with me drinking any stimulant just messes up everything on the other end.
I don't get bored at all doing Astronomy so I can stay awake easy enough. The naps make it possible. I learned how to sleep any time and any where in the Military.
Good to here from you Sonny.

Sonny, this a very individual problem. I'm viewing so I have to be awake. I take a nap before I set up. No coffee, soda anything with a stimulant is drank. And after it is over and the sky is turning purple. I can walk in and go to sleep. But 4 hrs of sleep is all I need to be okay. Hope you had a good fishing trip Sonny,

Hi Deric! Good to see you! I often try and catch a nap and it invigorates me into the evenings. I often do 6 hour sleep cycles. But as I've aged I tend to go 7ish hours. I used to function on a lot less rest, and no naps.
But I was never that nocturnal, only occasionally up into the wee hours, or all night. Daylight wakes me up, and usually ready to go.
Just curious what others do, and yes it is a very individual problem.
Yep, good fishing trip. Not a good catching trip. No Grandkid's along = no inspiration to get out early. But I did a couple of times. The most successful fishing was my under-mounted LED lights that shine down into the water lighting under my pontoon boat. Took neighboring folks and kids for night cruises to see the fish. That is a thrill a minute as we slowly trolled along. We found a school of carp and I cut the engine and drifted. They actually swam into the lights and all the folks watching were hanging over the sides ooing and ahhing at the big carp. We also saw some Bass, and pods of Bluegill.
But I did catch big limits of Grass Fish. What's Grass Fish? Most people recognize it as the long, stringy grasses growing from the floor of the water body. It gets broken free and drifts down river at the lazy ~2 MPH currant pace. I come along with my lures and snag it. Then have to reel in, clean my hooks, and set out my lures. I probably caught a few hundred pounds of Grass Fish. But catch and release is key with the species. I'd be more apt to eat Lima Beans before I'd boil up any Grass Fish.
