Hi all! new member here :)
I have a gm-8 with stepper motors and soft plastic covers, non-gemini. I purchased last week two new one-piece worm blocks and tried to install them but I run into an issue:
The hardware included to attach the motors does not work on the stepper motors that I have ... Upon closer inspection it seems that I received the Losmandy part "opw-8/w-orig" instead of the "opw-8/w"
The opw-8/w-orig I received has an end plate to attach the motors, while with the opw-8 (that I expected) the motors attach to the mount directly.
I have read that the opw-8/w-orig is probably a better choice, however, I can't attach my motors with it (standoffs and studs are the wrong size, and the old ones do not fit on the end plate). If anyone has seen this issue or has any advice I will be very grateful. Thanks!
