I was reviewing my G11 Manual, and see that it is recommended to calibrate the auto guider at a guide speed of 2 and then guiding at a speed of .5. This seems counter intuitive and I have not attempted this in the 20 years I have owned the mount. Is anyone using this method. Am I missing out on something?
