Chip, you are right, I went to Habor Freight, their wrenches were cast, guaranteed these will break. I whent with Bondhus.

There are only a couple ways to break a ballhead wrench. Shopping at the local Tool Barn, Harbor Freight or whatever they call the place with tools sold by the ton is the primary problem.?Quit buying cheap ballhead wrenches. There is no way you can break off
the head of a quality ballhead. Only the junk from who knows where can do that or using a ballhead wrench to break a fastener loose that is over torqued.?
Which brings me to another topic, use a torque wrench (and keep them calibrated) on anything that sees a load and if it is an exposed fastener use a tiny thread covering Dan of quality anti-seize/corrosion paste. Doing otherwise invites problems like you describe.?
