I will say this about the tucked motors, they made my standard G11 with Gemini 2-mini and latest high-torque motors a lot narrower and surprisingly a lot quieter for some reason. Combined with the RAEXK the need to do a meridian flip to prevent a mount strike happens a lot less often while imaging. For this it was WELL WORTH the money IMO and I'm really cheap which is why I bought a used G11 in the first place!?
I need to make a distinction here: I'm cheap which is not the same as being tight. Cheap people just want to get a good deal without hurting or limiting the potential of their gear. Cheap people know how to shop and identify the best possible gear and what a good deal is on it and then buy it. Tight people just keep buying inexpensive gear and suffer, endlessly upgrading until they become - cheap people!?
