1. The Transmit Audio Source is gray or not depending on the Rig you select - it reflects the capabilities of the original Kenwood Radio being used as a proxy for the TX-500, I've selected TS-2000, I chose another to test and the box became enabled

it is 07 - RF that impacts incoming audio to the PC. Not 09. ?The audio is so strong that my PC Microphone Volume is set to 5 of 100, 07 RF Dig is set to -30 or lower and I even see red then on the WSJT meter
one way to address this is to turn on ATT on the radio, then you will be able to see the impact of 07 RF as you change it

I asked and received the link to the Setting Audio Levels for Digital Modes instructions posted by Digirig
The only thing I did different than what is described was to make the Digirig sound adapter my "Default" so I could find the settings described in this procedure. After completing these steps, I restored the Default sound status to the one built into the laptop.

But what cable do you use in the back of the SignalLink , my cable is multi-way suitable for Icom ACC use. Do you have one with two 3.5mm plugs ?

I would like to go on record
that the TX500, Digirig interface, flrig and fldigi and play
together without issue on Windows-10, OS-X 10/11/12/13, various
Linux distros including Pi3/4 hardware.? Setup does not require
great mental skills.? The Digirig purchase included pre-wired
cables specifically for the TX500.? The h/w reduces the tangle
of cables required by the SignaLink (which I also support and
test).? If you use flrig then WSJTX etc can use flrig as the
"transceiver", thereby providing access to all of the TX500
supported CAT functions (sparse).

Minutes from box to making contacts. I got my first DigiRig for my G90. I have 4 signalinks now sitting in my junk drawer. 3 of them fully modified to make them work much better.?

I am running Linux (Mint20) and had a lot of head scratching. Denis suggested RTS PTT,, which worked fine wth FLRIG (TX500) and WJST-x slit - fake it did not work for me in this setup

New to the group here. Just got my TX500 and couldn't be happier with it for portable work! I got the updated digirig recently and have a little time to work on digital modes. I have been using the PDFs to try to setup Vara and Flrig. So far no luck. With winlink/Vara while in digital mode, I can get PTT to work but the cat control won't change the frequency. With Flrig the same applies. The raido is "connected" to Flrig but I am unable to change the frequency using my PC. I have the update for FLrig with the TX500 listed. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it. Thanks.

May i also suggest you read through prior posts in this forum on any of the digital modes?? Many of us have been experiencing similar difficulties.? I'm including docs written by others that I've collected just for this purpose.? Hoping this helps.

The next release of flrig will
have a CAT command PTT fully functioning, including annunciation
of PTT set at the transceiver.? I will announce when an alpha
release is available.

What is the "issue" with the DigiRig?? "updated digirig".? Is this the Digirig 1.6 voltage issue, or is this a bad batch of Digirigs that we might have?? If so how do I detect whether my Digirig Mobile needs a fix or replacement.? Having terrible issues with my TX-500.
